The 20th annual Rehabilitation Institute Research Day will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024. The event is co-sponsored by the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation School of Medicine, the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, and the UPMC Rehabilitation Institute. The location is to be determined.

Brenes Lecture – Dr. Jonathan Bean, Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Harvard Medical School
SHRS Lecture – Dr. Timothy Elliott, Distinguished Professor of Educational Psychology, Texas A&M University

Abstracts will be accepted in the following categories:

Pre-doc/Master’s

Medical Student

Undergraduate
The abstract winner in each category will receive a $250 prize and will be selected for a 15-minute oral presentation. All other abstracts will be invited to compete as poster presentations for $50 awards for each trainee category. Case studies will be accepted as posters but will not be considered for awards.
