  • Prehab article published in PM&R - “An innovative prehabilitation approach for lung transplant candidates”

Ted Barrios

  • Elected as a Member at Large for the Division 22/Rehabilitation Psychology Division of APA
  • Selected to be the Society for Clinical Neuropsychology (Division 40 of APA) Association of Neuropsychology 
  • Students & Trainees Faculty Mentor for the Rehabilitation Neuropsychology SIG
  • Invited to have a secondary appointment in the Department of Counseling and Behavioral Health in SHRS

Sarah Laughlin 

  • Disability Policy Seminar, Hill Day
    • Lead this advocacy-in-action training effort for 10 LEND faculty/trainees
  • Named Director of Experiential Instruction within LEND
  • Leading development of a new diagnostic service pathway for Intellectual Disability at CHP
    • Aims to streamline evaluation services to meet the needs of individuals in the IDD community more effectively, consider how these services interplay with community agencies as part of clinical service design, and improve access to this type of assessment for families
  • Director of the Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs Track within the Maternal Child Health (MCH) Center of Excellence

Ryan Nussbaum 

  • Earned The Registered in Musculoskeletal (RMSK) sonography certification

Debbie Tan

  • Paper written with Kendall Downer about the original palliative care lecture for PM&R residents published in PMRJ - “Applying adult learning theory to goals of care training for physical medicine and rehabilitation residents”

Kerry DeLuca

  • OIG project
    • Working on advocacy project with AAPM&R to meet with Office of Inspector General to Discuss Ways to Reduce IRF Error Rates

Amy Letteri

  • Paper with Monica Martinez got accepted to TCN - “Outreach Neuropsychology: Innovations in community-based training”
