I choose UPMC for the widespread opportunities in clinical care, research, and medical education. Additionally, the UPMC PM&R team is composed of the most welcoming and collegial leaders in the field. I felt confident that I would be exceptionally trained at UPMC and would thrive, without having to sacrifice any of my interests or passions. Lastly, I was excited about moving to a new area with lots to do, while being a road trip away from my family in Central PA.
