In searching for a residency program, I was looking for a place that would support me in my passions while also pushing me to be the best, most prepared physiatrist I can be upon graduation. After doing a rotation at UPMC, it was clear that the program and its people care deeply about the education of its residents while also maintaining status as one of the most innovative PM&R departments within the country. This balance is what ultimately led me to choose UPMC!
