Grace O'Neale, MD

Why did you choose UPMC residency program?
Life presents us with many obstacles, but in the midst of them, God offers us eternal hope. Physiatry is a beautiful extension of that hope. I am honored to support patients as they overcome obstacles and rediscover possibilities as a physiatrist.
I am grateful to serve as a resident physician in PM&R at UPMC. I was initially drawn by the flexibility, strength and breadth of the curriculum. However, the health, vibrancy, and camaraderie of the rehabilitation community at UPMC made it feel like home from day one. Additionally, our faculty our accessible role models for professionalism and excellence in research. Finally, for intern year, UPMC Mercy provides a wonderful opportunity to serve and learn in a hospital dedicated to providing quality healthcare to every person.
