Why did you choose UPMC residency program?
I was impressed by the way UPMC conducts their curriculum and rotations. I liked that UPMC rehab facilities are hospital/university center based instead of free standing, allowing what I believe is better continuity of care and transitions between acute and rehab. I like the more medically complicated patients on the inpatient units. I loved the numerous inpatient and outpatient sites, offering great variety. There is also a good mixture of attendings of all ages and backgrounds. Most of the staff and residents have great camaraderie. Additionally, Pittsburgh is just the right sized city that I would like to be in.
