Peter Hurh, MD

Peter J. Hurh, MD is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Medical Director of UPMC East Rehabilitation Institute.

Dr. Hurh received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2000. He then attended Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, receiving both a Masters of Medical Sciences and a Doctorate of Medicine in 2005 and 2009, respectively. He completed his Internal Medicine internship at Allegheny General Hospital in 2010, and completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency training at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago/ Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2013. While at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, he served as chief resident during his final year.
