Eric Helm. MD
Assistant Professor

Eric Helm, MD is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is co-director of the Southside Hospital Outpatient Procedure Center where his focus is on cause and treatment of chronic pain .

Dr. Helm is heavily involved in the residency department, as Director of the Musculoskeletal Rotation, Ultrasound Curriculum, and Anatomy Course. He is an educator at both University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Duquesne University Pain Undergraduate Research Experience Program. He is a strong advocate of comprehensive spine care

Spinal cord stimulation, Dorsal root ganglion stimulation in amputees, interventional spine procedures, diagnostic ultrasound, ultrasound-guided procedures, comprehensive pain medicine programs
