Brain injury medicine is a rapidly expanding subspecialty of PM&R. The strengths of the fellowship include well-rounded BIM training wtih exposure to a diversity of patients and diagnoses. The program also offers outstanding teaching and research opportunities.

Career Interests
Clinical: TBI, concussion, medical acupunture, OMT, military medicine, tactical combat casualty care
Research: Blast-related mild TBI, disordered sleep in persons with disabilty, and the impact of depression, age and gender on functional recovery after brain injury
